Philosophy
Research, creativity, and meaning— the forces that drive my design philosophy. I am not an artist. So I rely on research and observation to make informed design decisions; I rely on practice to sharpen my sight for aesthetics. Creativity— I thrive most when letting my creativity flow. Whether it’s putting together a color palette and typography or I’m tasked with finding a solution, creativity and my desire to approach challenges in a new and interesting way fuel my design work. Lastly, meaning. I was drawn to UI/UX because meaning and empathy are central driving forces that elevate a work of design from aesthetic eye candy to a meaningful experience. I am a designer who creates meaningful designs for the user’s digital experience.
“The role of the designer is that of a good, thoughtful host anticipating the needs of his guests.”
