Hi, I’m Ashita
In 2016, I embarked on a three-country study abroad exploring how culture, storytelling, and user experience shape memory-making in historical sites. Immersing myself in how physical spaces guide, inform, and engage visitors, I realized that the same principles apply to digital experiences—every interaction tells a story. That realization led me to UX design, where I blend functionality, aesthetics, and user needs to create meaningful, intuitive experiences.
I’m a detail-oriented thinker with a vision for the bigger picture—whether I’m refining typography and color choices or debating how language influences hierarchy and perception, I love the challenge of crafting purposeful, seamless interactions. As a UX designer, I strive to build engaging, user-centered experiences that not only look beautiful but feel effortless to use.
When I’m not immersed in design software or user flows, you’ll find me reading Webtoons, watching dramas, listening to music in languages I don’t speak, or exploring global cuisines. My passion for storytelling and diverse perspectives fuels my approach to design—ensuring that every product I create is not just functional but immersive and memorable.
Tools & Technologies
Even when it comes to technology, we all have our biases. Lately, mine is the iPad pro. I am such a fan of an iPad first workflow whether it’s for my professional life or my personal life. It’s hard to remember life without my trusted digital companion. As an avid note-taker, memo-keeper, task planner, and journaler, my day starts and ends with GoodNotes. Although I am new to the digital journaling game, my passion will definitely match yours. Check out some of my other favorite tools and technologies.
